Kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengatasi masalah penguasaan ayat pasif diri pertama dan ayat pasif diri ketiga yang dihadapi oleh murid-murid tahun 3 Cempaka. Ayat pasif diri pertama dan ayat pasif diri ketiga merupakan salah satu komponen penting yang tidak boleh diabaikan kerana ayat ini kerap digunakan pada bahagian B, iaitu pada bahagian penulisan. Seramai 30 orang murid terlibat dalam kajian ini. Responden mengalami masalah dalam penguasaan ayat pasif diri pertama dan ayat pasif diri ketiga. Analisis dokumen telah dilakukan atas kertas-kertas ujian yang lalu, buku tulis dan hasil-hasil kerja murid. Analisis dokumen yang dilakukan menunjukkan murid tidak dapat menguasai ayat pasif diri pertama dan ayat pasif diri ketiga dengan baik. Perancangan tindakan difokuskan melalui ujian awal dan ujian akhir. Murid telah diberi pendedahan dengan teknik latih tubi yang dijalankan setiap kali waktu mata pelajaran Bahasa Melayu. Teknik latih tubi yang dilaksanakan bermaksud teknik yang dilakukan secara berulang-ulang sehingga prestasi murid dapat ditingkatkan. Keputusan ujian akhir telah menunjukkan peningkatan prestasi murid dengan cemerlang. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa teknik latih tubi telah meningkatkan penguasaan murid dalam ayat pasif diri pertama dan ketiga. Teknik ini telah membantu murid tahun 3 Cempaka menguasai ayat pasif diri pertama dan ayat pasif diri ketiga. Penyelidik mencadangkan teknik ini digabungkan dengan kaedah formula ayat pasif supaya murid yang bermasalah lebih mudah untuk menguasai ilmu yang diajarkan oleh guru.
ABSTRACT
This research has been done to overcome the problem in class 3 Cempaka. The main purpose of this task is to help the students understand passive sentences for person pronouns in first and third categories. The first and third person pronouns is one of the important component that cannot be ignored when writing the passive sentences. It is frequently used in part B exam paper which is writing. Thirty students were involved in this research and most of the respondents had problems to understand the passive sentences. An analysis through the previous tests, books and student’s other work shows that the students cannot understand the passive sentences properly. The researcher focused is to the student’s initial test and final test. The students have been exposed with the exercise technique every time they have class in Malay subject. All the students in class 3 Cempaka used this technique repeatedly until the student’s performance have been improve. Final test results have shown all the students were excellent in their test. As a result this technique is successfully used to improve the ability of the students in order to help them writing the passive sentences. The researcher has made suggestion to combined this technique with formula method so students could understand the passive sentences easily.
